KCCA FC vs TOORO UNITED FC| 4: 30 pm (EAT) | Startimes Uganda Premier League

KCCA FC will host 15th placed Tooro United FC in-game day 18 of the second round of the Startimes Uganda Premier League at Startimes Stadium, Lugogo

Sadat Anaku is doubtful to feature against Tooro United FC

Tooro were 1-0 winners against KCCA FC in the first round. The Fort Portal based team left it late to grab a win against the defending Champions.

Tooro will be playing their second game in the second round having had a walk over a handed to their opponents Onduparaka in-game day 16 when they failed to make the required numbers to play the game.

This will be the Champions’ second game at home in the second round and will hope they can bounce back from that midweek setback against Brightstars.

The fact is KCCA FC can not afford to drop any more points this term given that now there is a seven points gap between the Champions and leaders Vipers.

The defending Champions have scored the most goals this term, 34 and conceded 17 times in the seventeen games played so far this season.

As much as the Champions have scored the most goals, that have let in 17 goals which should be a concern to coach Mike Mutebi and his technical team.

The visitors Tooro lie 15th on the log with 15 points and a goal difference of -17. The visitors’s camp has been marred with issues lately and surely would not fancy a visit to a wounded KCCA team that has a pending debt to pay.

KCCA FC Manager Mike Hillary Mutebi during a pre -match conference at the StarTimes Stadium .

We have to make a response. Truth is, we did not do well against Brightstars and we need to correct mistakes.

We shall use the same squad we used in the previous game because we are still faced with licensing issues.

Hopefully, the captain Lukwago is back from illness. Poloto, Anaku, Ssenyonjo are out because of licensing issues, atleast as of now.

Kizza, Okello are also not expected to feature. The rest of the squad is well and ready to go.

We lost the game in Fortportal and we have since worked on our errors. We hope to put up a better perfomance.
