KCCA FC vs TOORO UNITED FC| 4: 30 pm (EAT) | Startimes Uganda Premier League
STARTIMES STADIUM, LUGOGO
KCCA FC will visit 15th placed Tooro United FC in-game day 18 of the second round of the Startimes Uganda Premier League at Startimes Stadium, Lugogo
Tooro were 1-0 winners against KCCA FC in the first round. The Fort Portal based team left it late to grab a win against the defending Champions.
Tooro will be playing their second game in the second round having had a walk over a handed to their opponents Onduparaka in-game day 16 when they failed to make the required numbers to play the game.
This will be the Champions’ second game at home in the second round and will hope they can bounce back from that midweek setback against Brightstars.
The fact is KCCA FC can not afford to drop any more points this term given that now there is a seven points gap between the Champions and leaders Vipers.
The defending Champions have scored the most goals this term, 34 and conceded 17 times in the seventeen games played so far this season.
As much as the Champions have scored the most goals, that have let in 17 goals which should be a concern to coach Mike Mutebi and his technical team.
The visitors Tooro lie 15th on the log with 15 points and a goal difference of -17. The visitors’s camp has been marred with issues lately and surely would not fancy a visit to a wounded KCCA team that has a pending debt to pay.
Teenager Opio Sunday is up for selection after overcoming league licensing issues and making his cameo against Brightstars FC
