Stanbic Uganda Cup record winners KCCA FC will face Doves FC in the round of the 16 of the 46th edition of the Uganda Cup 2019/20 edition
KCCA were 2-0 winners against Bukedea TC in the round of 32 played at Startimes Stadium, Lugogo.
A win for KCCA against Doves FC will send the record winners to the quarter-finals
Hosts Doves FC were 2-1 winners against Water FC at Katusabe Dove FC at their home ground in Masindi.
With the league defending Champions KCCA behind log leaders Vipers SC by four points in the Uganda Premier League, and with five games to play, cup football has to be accorded maximum attention to ensure some glory is salvaged this term.
TEAM NEWS
Musa Ramathan and Gift Ali are back after serving their suspensions. Gift missed the last game against Proline FC while Musa missed the last two league games.
Magambo Peter, Filbert Obenchan, Musana Hassan and Musa Ramthan could start in defense. In the absence of injured John Revita and Kato Samuel who is absent.
Exciting teenager Kizza Bukenya Joseph will not feature due to license issues.
Teenagers; Kafumbe Joseph, Sam Ssenyonjo and Steven Sserwadda are back to school and so will not feature.
Soccer Academy players
Like it has been the practice, soccer academy players could get their senior debuts against Doves FC. Defenders; Mukisa Simon and Ibrahim Juma, Midfielders; Mwanje Elvis and Ssebulime Pius and Striker Otim Jerome could all feature against Doves FC as they traveled with the team to Masindi and are in Coach Mutebi’s plans.
National Duty
Achai Herbert, Kato Samuel, Kizza Mustafa, Lukwago Charles, and Poloto Julius are away on national duty and will not feature in this game.
Injured
Nunda Jackson, John Revita, Mike Mutyaba, Muzamiru Mutyaba and Jurua Hassan are all out due to injuries and illness.
Captain
Gift Ali will captain the side in the absence of Lukwago, Poloto, and Kizza who are away on national duty.

It is unfortunate we will not have some of our players, Achai, Poloto, Kizza and Kato who are away on National Duty but we will have able replacemments from our soccer academy.
We want to display a very beautiful brand of football to the fans despite us playing on unfamiliar grounds.
We are focused on our immediate task which is Doves FC and we can not afford to think about the league now which resumes in May
