KCCA FC, Blacks Power FC shared spoils in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
The hosts Blacks Power found the back of the net first through their lanky striker Robert Eseru in the 7th minute.
KCCA’s Ssenoga Muhamad fired the ball inches over the bar after he had been gifted the ball off a loose touch by Blacks Power’s Amayo in the 14th minute.
Custodian Derrick Ochan was called into action to make a point blank save to deny Eseru from doubling the hosts’ lead in the 16th minute.
Teenager Haruna Lukwago was then withdrawn for forward Tshisungu Kankonde in the 27th minute.
9 minutes later, Denis Iguma nodded home off Allan Okello’s corner kick to restore parity.
One all at the break.
After recess, Kankonde had a chance to double KCCA’s lead but his effort on goal was cleared off the goal line five minutes after the hour mark.
Morley Byekwaso would then introduce Shaban Muhammad, Usama Arafati and Saidi Mayanja for Julius Poloto, Allan Okello and Ssenoga Kagawa in the 72nd minute.
One all at fulltime.
KCCA FC sharing spoils in a second consecutive match in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
The 13 times league Champions, KCCA FC are second on the table with 37 points just three behind leaders SC Villa but the former has two games in hand.
KCCA FC will host 12th placed UPDF FC next on Sunday 9th March at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo at 6pm.
