KCCA FC lost to Gaddafi FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

The loss was third for KCCA FC this season and the second on the road.

KCCA FC had early shouts for penalty waved away by referee George Olem in the 9th minute after Musana seemed to have had a hand on the ball.

Juma Ibrahim beat his man and crossed in the box but Anaku was a second late and the ball went begging in the 29th minute.

The hosts broke the deadlock through Kitata at the stroke of halftime.

After recess, Ssekisambu found space and shot from the edge of the 18 yard box but the hosts’ goal keeper Mutebi Ronald saved just six minutes after the restart.

Four minutes after the hour mark, Brian Majwega, Brian Aheebwa and Dominic Ayella replaced Sadat Anaku, Rogers Mato and Peter Magambo respectively.

In the 71st minute, Mazengo’s pin point cross found Ssekisambu who tapped the ball over the frame of the goal with the goal keeper beaten.

With a quarter an hour to play, Aheebwa was fouled at the edge of the box, Mugume stepped up to take the resultant kick but the ball flew over the bar.

Mugume was later cautioned for a foul on Gaddafi’s Basangwa in the 79th minute.

Youngster Ayella beat his marker and shot on goal but Gaddafi’s Mutebi was in the right position to deny him from levelling matters.

1-0 at fulltime.
