KCCA FC dropped three points against NEC FC for the first time this season at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
KCCA FC got into match day nine unbeaten, and it took the away side NEC FC’s Muzamiru Mutyaba’s strike in the 20th minute to break the deadlock.
KCCA FC had an early opportunity of promise by Sadat Anaku, kept out by NEC’s goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo from point-blank range.

In the 37th minute, Anukani won possession and laid a crisp pass to Usama, who shot from a distance, but his effort was saved.
Three minutes later, James Mubezi headed wide, a well-taken corner from Bright Anukani.
In the 42nd minute, Anaku had the opportunity to draw the tie-level, but his effort off his stronger foot flew over the bar.
1-0 at the break, NEC FC with the advantage.
After recess, the game got more physical, and a series of players got cautioned for committing fouls.
NEC’s Patrick Bayiga and KCCA FC’s Gavin Kizito were cautioned in the 53rd and 58th minutes.

In the 68th minute, Saidi Mayanja’s effort was saved by Ssebwalunyo after Ashraf Mugume had teed him up clear on goal.
Ettiene Katenga was introduced for Saidi Mayanja in the 73rd minute.
NEC’s Allan Mugalu and Geriga Atendele were cautioned for late challenges on KCCA FC players, and so was KCCA’s custodian Anthony Emojong, who was cautioned for a foul on James Jarieko.
Abubaker Mayanja replaced Usama Arafat in the 78th minute.
NEC’s Gideon Odongo was cautioned for wasting time in the 84th minute.
KCCA’s final change had Haruna Lukwago replace Gavin Kizito in the 86th minute.
