KCCA FC run riot against SC Villa in the Startimes Uganda Premier League held at Startimes Stadium.
The Kasasiro boys showed immediate intent to grab maximum points with rapid attacks towards the visitors’ backline and it was not long until the Champions found the breakthrough.
Teenager Joseph Kafumbe poked the ball from close range off a good ball from Musa Ramathan and Sam Ssenyonjo to give KCCA FC the advantage on 10 minutes.
Teenager Ssenyonjo would have doubled KCCA’s lead on two occasions but he failed to convert Muzamiru’s corner and Kizza’s flawless cross.
Samuel Kato then found the back of the net but he was flagged offside in the 37th minute.
Seconds later, Ssenyonjo beat his marker and teed up Sekisambu who slotted the ball in the back of the net to double KCCA’s lead.
After recess, Keziron Kizito was introduced in place for Muzamiru Mutyaba.
Seven minutes after restart Sekisambu laid a good ball for Ssenyonjo who failed to convert from close range.
A minute after the hour mark. Kizza controlled a good ball from Sekisambu and riffled the ball in the bottom left corner to make it three for KCCA FC.
With 15 minutes to play, Keziron was then withdrawn for Kasozi.
In the 78th minute, Okello picked a ball from Sekisambu and dribbled past Harishe before his shot rattled the woodwork.
Amir Kakomo picked a consolation for SC Villa in the 81st minute.
Three minutes later, Ssenyonjo fed Okello who riffled the ball past Villa’s keeper in what was the icing on the cake.
4-1 the final score
The Champions now lie 2nd on the log with 29 points and on 14 games played with a game to spare in the first round.
