KCCA FC outclassed Gaddafi FC and picked up its second win in a row at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
KCCA FC had the game’s first moment of offensive promise fall to Rogers Atube, but the defender missed twice in the 7th and 10th minutes, with the latter hitting the woodwork.
In the 13th minute, Ashraf Mugume’s free kick was saved by Gaddafi’s custodian, Andrew Ssekandi.
In the 18th minute, Ettiene Katenga broke the deadlock with a solo effort. The winger dribbled past two men and opened up his body before slotting the ball in the back of the net.
Five minutes later, Shaban Muhammad nodded home KCCA’s second and his fifth of the season.
Three minutes after scoring KCCA’s second goal, Shaban secured a brace and his sixth goal of the season
Three minutes after the half-hour mark, Usama Arafati would then get KCCA’s fourth goal with a thumping finish past Andrew Ssekandi.
On the 40th minute mark, Usama grabbed a brace with a sumptuous finish to stretch KCCA’s lead.
Gaddafi FC custodian Andrew Ssekandi picked up an injury and was replaced by Denis Ochieng.
5-0 at the break.
After recess, Usama missed his kick, with Gaddafi goal keeper Denis Ochieng beaten and the goal at his mercy.
Peter Magambo was cautioned for a foul on Gaddafi’s Steven Munguchi in the 56th minute.
Abdallah Mubiru rung changes, introducing Dominic Ayella, Saidi Mayanja and Emmanuel Loki for Usama Arafat, Ashraf Mugume and Shaban Muhammad in the 57th minute.
Two minutes after the hour mark, Gaddafi’s Sharif Ssengendo pulled one back for the visitors.
Rogers Atube was cautioned for a foul on Gaddafi’s Ssengendo in the 70th minute.
Five minutes later, Gaddafi’s Franco Magero was cautioned for a foul on KCCA’s Magambo.
Joel Sserunjogi then replaced Magambo in the 77th minute.
In the 85th minute, Herbert Achayi replaced Kizza Mustafa.
Two minutes later, Ayella tapped in from close quarters to make it six for KCCA FC.
6-1 at fulltime.
