KCCA FC lost 1-0 to URA FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League match day 24 of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
Substitute John Kisolo, a former KCCA FC Soccer Academy graduate, scored the hosts’ sole goal in the 79th minute of the game.
Earlier in the game, Shafik Kwikiriza dribbled past two markers and crossed in the box to Usama Arafat, whose effort deflected off URA’s Enock Walusimbi and out for a corner kick in the 13th minute.
URA’s Joshua Lubwama and KCCA’s Gavin Kizito would then get cautioned for fouls in the 17th and 18th minutes.

Mugolofa was called into action in the 22nd minute when he spectacularly kept out James Begisa’s effort.
Peter Magambo was cautioned for repetitive fouls, this time on Moses Aliro, a former KCCA FC Soccer Academy and senior team player, in the 25th minute.
Derrick Nsibambi should have broken the deadlock in the 28th minute, but he miscued his kick with the goal at his mercy after Kwikiriza had left two men for dead.
Goalless at the break.
After recess, Kwikiriza had the opportunity to find the opener for KCCA FC, but he hit his effort inches over the bar after Magambo had teed him up well in the 54th minute.
Three minutes later, Magambo’s shot from outside the box was comfortably saved by URA’s custodian, Denis Otim.
Joel Sserunjogi was cautioned for repetitive fouls, this time on URA’s Laban Tibita in the 64th minute.

Bright Anukani and Joao Gabriel replaced Saidi Mayanja and Shafik Kiwikiriza in the 72nd minute.
URA broke the deadlock through substitute John Kisolo in the 79th minute.
Musitafa Mujuzi was then replaced by Haruna Lukwago in the 80th minute.
KCCA’s final changes saw Ashraf Mugume and Emmanuel Anyama replace Peter Magambo and Derrick Nsibambi in the 86th minute.
1-0 at fulltime.
KCCA FC now turns its focus to the Stanbic Uganda Cup, where the club will be playing big league side Kaaro Karungi FC in the semifinals of the 51st edition.
