Mato | We hope to get clinical

By: Moses Magero

KCCA FC winger Rogers Mato has expressed concern about the lack of goals in the recent games by the club.

Mato who joined KCCA FC in the 2021/22 season spoke with www,kccafc.co.ug ahead of the game against Police FC and said;

What is costing us is finding the back of the net. We have had games where we created chances but failed to tuck them away. We have been working on this as a team because scoring is a collective effort for the team. The coaches have prepared us well ahead of this game and we know we have a responsibility as players to perform. We look better when we score because this helps us to play confidently as a team. We will continue to work on this and we hope to get more clinical in the coming games.

Roger Mato

Mato has scored two goals for KCCA FC this season in the games against SC Villa (Away) and Police FC (Home). The winger had set targets for himself in his first season at the club.

At the beginning of the season I set a target to score 10-17 goals but I have got to review that now and I hope to score 3-4 more goals before the end of the season

Mato Rogers.

The shirt number 3 will be hoping he can get on the score card against the Cops like he did in the first round of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League
