Morley Byekwaso named U 20 head coach, 12 players summoned for Senior and U20 National Duty.

KCCA FC’s assistant manager Morely Byekwaso has been appointed as the U 20 Male National Head Coach and will start be in charge of the side during the U 20 CECAFA Challenge Cup that starts on 21st September to 5th October 2019.

Also, 12 KCCA FC players have been summoned for Senior and U 20 National Team duty.

Seven players have made the senior national squad to play in the Total Africa Nations Championships 2020 CHAN qualifier on Saturday 21st September 2019 against Burundi.

The seven are; Charles Lukwago, Mustafa Kizza, John Revita, Muzamiru Mutyaba, Allan Okello, Sulaiman Mutyaba and Kasozi Nicholas.

The notable call up is Sulaiman Mutyaba who last donned the National shirt in 2014 in a world cup qualifier match against Liberia.

Forwards Mike Mutyaba and Anaku Sadat have been summoned for the Senior and U 20 National team respectively

On the same note, five players have been summoned to U20 male National side for residential training at FUFA Technical Centre with effect from 11th September 2019

The five are; Kafumbe Joseph, Anaku Sadat, Musa Ramathan, Opiro Justine and Sserwadda Steven.

The U 20 national side will participate in the U 20 Male CECAFA Challenge Cup that will commence on 21st September until 5th October 2019 and shall be hosted in Uganda.
