Mutebi impressed with team’s effectiveness against Lungujja Galaxy

Manager Mike Hillary Mutebi has applauded his players for the spirited performance and efficiency  they produced as KCCA FC eased past Lungujja Galaxy in the Uganda cup.

Mutebi was full of praise about the players’ effectiveness especially going forward after KCCA FC humiliated Kampala regional side Lungujja Galaxy 6-0 in the Uganda cup round of 32 game played at Phillip Omondi stadium on Wednesday.

I am happy that we put up a great  performance and managed to win the game convincingly. It is pleasing and this gives players more confidence. We were effective going forward and the strikers were brilliant

The Manager told www.kccafc.co.ug after the game, he also showed delight after the team created several chances and managed to put most of them away.

We were effective, we created several chances and put them to use. It is important the  forward players associated well and were a joy to watch

Derrick Nsibambi produced a man of the match performance  scoring a hat trick while Geoffrey Serunkuuma grabbed a brace with Tom Masiko getting the other as KCCA FC cruised to the round of 16.

KCCA FC depart for Angola’s capital, Luanda on Friday morning ahead of the return leg of the CAF champions league preliminary round against CD Primeiro de Agosto due this weekend.

KCCA FC go into the return leg with a 1-0 advantage after winning the first leg last week courtesy of Geoffrey Sserunkuuma.
