By: Moses Magero

KCCA FC and player Andrew Kawooya have agreed to terminate contract by mutual consent.

Kawooya joined KCCA FC at the start of the 2020/21 season and signed for five years until the end of 2024/25 season.

He later had a short loan stint at UPDF FC in the 2021/22 season to further his growth.

The former CECAFA U-17 winner leaves with one senior goal to his name that came in his first start for KCCA FC against Kitara FC in the 2020/21 season and most importantly the Cambiasso and Rainbow U-20 trophy where he was voted as the Most Valuable Player in Dar es salaam, Tanzania, 2022.

While at KCCA FC, Kawooya also made the final squad for the Uganda Men’s U20 side that finished first runners up in the AFCON U20 held in Mauritania, 2021.

Everyone at KCCA FC thanks Andrew Kawooya for the memories over the years and wishes the player all the best for the future.
