KCCA FC teenager Elvis Eddy Mwanje has come out to say that he is elated at making his league debut.
The 18 year old midfielder came on at halftime during the game against Arua Hill SC at the MTN Omondi Stadium on Monday 11th April.
The young man looked so impressive and was lauded by the Manager Morley Byekwaso during his post match press conference.
Mwanje spoke to the official club website after the game and had this to say;
I am grateful for making my league debut. I have worked so hard to attain this. It is not the result that we wanted today but we shall keep fighting till the very last day. I made my senior debut in the Uganda Cup against Doves FC in Masindi, 2020. At the time, I was still playing in the junior team and made a personal vow to work hard and get promoted to the senior team. I have waited so long for this moment and I am happy that I have played my first league game today. I am also grateful to my fellow players and coaches that have contributed to my growth while at KCCA FC. I will keep working hard so that I become a mainstay on the team.
