KCCA FC assistant Manager Morley Byekwaso has rallied on the lads to be fearless and positive against Congo’s AS Otoho in CAF Confederation Cup.
Byekwaso who is an ex player at KCCA FC spoke to www.kccafc.co.ug after the first training session at Kintele Stadium in Brazzaville and said;
We thank the Lord that we arrived safely in Congo and we are all very fine. The first training session is always key because it helps assess players’ ability to shake off the jet lag and also their focus before a game.
In the training you would see everyone was focused, positive and determined and they want to go pick a result in Owando on Sunday.
We have experience on the continent after playing the big boys in Al Ahly and Esperance last year and we can not afford to be clumsy like it was at the start. The lads have to be fearless against AS Otoho and pick a good result in the 1st leg.
KCCA FC play AS Otoho on Sunday 13th January at Stade Omnisport Marien Ngouabi in Owando – Congo Brazzaville.
