Kizza Mustafa has returned to KCCA FC.

The left-back has penned a two-year contract and has been included on the club’s roster for the 2023–24 season.

Kizza has been handed his favorite and signature shirt 12, which had previously been handed to teenage sensation Alex Yiga who left for football trials in Europe.

Kizza spoke to this website and said,

I feel happy to return home. I am happy that we have made this happen. I thank the Coach, management and everybody that has made this happen. This was a very easy decision for me to make. I want to help the club to return to its glory days. The club is intent on achieving its objectives this year and I can not wait to get started with the lads.

Kizza joined KCCA Soccer Academy as a teenager in 2015 and played for the development side until 2016.

The left back then joined Maroons FC on loan at the beginning of the 2016–17 season, later returned to KCCA FC in January 2017, and played for the senior team for a period of 3 and a half years.

Mustafa rejoined KCCA FC in the second part of the 2022–23 season for a six-month short stint until the end of July 2023.

The left-back has now returned home and has penned a two-year contract.

Kizza Mustafa becomes KCCA FC and Sergio Traguil’s eighth signing ahead of the 2023/24 season after Joel Sserunjogi, Brazilians; Joao Gabriel, Vinicius Michael, and Angolans; Bruno Adilson Mfulu, Emilson Gonzaga, Cungulo Da Silva and Etienne Katenga.

Everyone at KCCA FC welcomes Kizza back home and wishes him the best for the season.
