The new year is upon us and it gives me great pleasure to join the KCCA FC family in welcoming the Year 2021.
2020 was by no means a trying year for us as well as globally. We started off quite well with several dreams and aspirations up until COVID 19 struck the world in March 2020. Alot was put to standstill and we all faced the daunting challenge of addressing the hardships posed by the pandemic which are still existent thus far.
Nevertheless, despite this tough year with all its disruptions, we are glad that we were able to register success.
The team got creative and launched a weekly Television Show dubbed The KCCA FC TV which runs every Sunday 10pm on Sanyuka. We secured approvals for construction of a state of the art stadium whose works are scheduled for early 2021. In the same regard, we got a new stadium naming rights partner, MTN and the stadium name henceforth is called the MTN – Omondi Stadium.
All the above and more has been achieved through fitting of different pieces of the puzzle together.
We extend our immense thanks to our sponsors and partners in this regard. We are grateful to KCCA, StarTimes, MTN, Britam, Prime Media, Vivo Energy and NC Beverages whose contribution is paramount.
We similarly applaud our partners Next Media, Century Cinema and Club Ambiance for walking the journey with us. You are an integral part of our well being.
To the players, coaches and staff, thank you for making 2020 worthwhile, eyes now fixed on 2021 for even bigger and better strides.
The gallant fans, what is KCCA FC without you, thank you for standing by our side, through thick and thin and we promise to always aim to provide an even spectacular experience on and off the field always just like our “Kawowo” style of play.
The KCCA FC Family, 2021 is an opportunity for us to explore even more and attain greater heights. The future is certainly bright and we ought to wear shades to see it clearly.
