
Paul Derrick Nsibambi struck twice for KCCA FC against Bull FC at StarTimes stadium to keep Uganda Premier League title chase alive.
The forward struck first in the 19th minute off a long ball from Sadam Ibrahim Juma that he slotted first time beyond custodian Hannington Sebwalunyo.
The second came late in added time when Sadam floated the ball in the box and Nsibambi made no mistake but thump the ball in the back of the net right at the death.
Earlier in the game, the hosts showed immediate impact with flair and fluidity in attack that gave the visitors a hard time on the evening.
Walter Ochora playing his first senior debut for KCCA FC made beautiful runs upfront and gelled easily with the regulars, the defender produced a perfect cross down the right flank but Nsibambi’s connection to it came a second late.

Fast paced Paul Mucureezi pounced on a loose ball in the midfield, beat two markers and shot inches wide off the upright. Allan Okello should have made it 1-0 for KCCA FC but his 30 yard shot went straight into the keeper’s hands.
A minute later, Sadam released the ball from 50 yards to Nsibambi the striker making no mistake but slot the ball past the custodian to give KCCA FC the advantage in the 19th minute.
Julius Poloto almost made it two for KCCA FC but his effort was tucked out by Yusuf Mukisa after he had beaten two of his markers.
After recess, KCCA FC kept possession more, trying to break the opposition in search for the second goal and it was Poloto who came inches close from doubling the lead but his 20-yard effort went inches wide.

With 12 minutes to the end of the game, Jurua Hassan was introduced for Poloto and Okot Denis for Walter Ochora 5 minutes later. Hardly had they come on when Jean Pier Kambale levelled matters for Bull FC.
In added time, Sadam floated a high ball in the box that met Nsibambi’s head the striker making no mistake but thump home to win it for KCCA FC right at the death.
2-1 the final score,
KCCA FC with another important league win and moving to 60 points, equal games with log leaders who lead by two points but with one game to play for both and the rest of the teams in the league.
KCCA FC play Police FC away next Friday 25th May at Namboole in the final league game of the season.
