Teenage prodigy Allan Okello bagged a brace for Uganda Cranes against Somalia in the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup 2019 held at Startimes Stadium, Lugogo.

The young man who started in an advanced midfield role in a strong side named by tactician McKinstry had a couple of efforts denied in the opening 20 minutes of the game with one that rattled the woodwork and out.

In the 28th minute, the teenager picked his spot from the midfield, surged forward, had a look and had a hit that deflected off an opponent before finding the back of the net and sending the Uganda fans in a frenzy.

If the first goal was brilliant, the second was special. The teenager run down the right-wing, dribbled past his opponent and cut in before picking his spot and produced a beauty of a strike in typical trademark Allan Okello style.
