KCCA FC and Kyadondo Secondary School, Matugga, have sealed a football partnership with a Memorandum of Understanding signed at Kyadondo SS.
The agreement also strengthens the good working relationship that KCCA FC and Kyadondo SS have had for a while and will have the school added as KCCA FC’s fourth School of Excellence.

The event was held at Kyadondo SS, and club officials in attendance were Anisha Muhoozi (CEO), Gilbert Muwonge (Manager of Technical Services), Saka Mpiima (Head Coach of KCCA FC Junior Team), Moses Magero (Public Relations Officer), and Robert Mulamule (Media Officer).
The Head Teacher of Kyadondo SS, Matugga Hajji Ismail Waliggo, who was joined by the School Board Chairman, Prof. Ntale Muhammad, Deputy Head Master in Charge of Academics and Discipline, Fred Musisi, and other school staff, thanked KCCA FC for adding the school as part of their schools of excellence and commended the organization of the club as compared to others.
I am happy about this partnership and this is a great opportunity to partner with KCCA FC. The two institutions are going to benefit from this. We know that KCCA FC has a talent identification and development policy, which is also part of our vision. We want to nurture young talents and this is the best match. We recently saw a young lad in Brian Ijara get promoted from the junior team to the senior team. We are going to promote the club by buying jerseys and other merchandise and also build a very strong fanbase here.

KCCA FC CEO Anisha Shahir Muhoozi emphasized developing and promoting holistic football talent, but with a balance on player education.
Football is important and so is education, keep in school and grow your talent. We have identified Kyadondo SS as another school where we can extend our reach. We know that there is untapped talent in this area and hopefully, we can nurture it and have some players groomed into our junior team. This MOU also has Kyadondo SS as an extension of our soccer academy program. The school is going to provide scholarships to the students under our program. We shall also in return extend our technical expertise to Kyadondo SS, so the partnership is mutually beneficial.

KCCA FC now has four schools of excellence: Kibuli Senior Secondary School, Masaka Secondary School, Old Kampala Secondary School, and now Kyadondo Secondary School, Matugga.

KCCA FC officials also donated several jerseys to the students and were later taken on a tour around the school premises.
