PARTNERSHIPS | KCCA FC strengthens ties with Kibuli SSS, Chint donates balls.

KCCA FC officials paid a courtesy visit to Kibuli Senior Secondary School, one of its Schools of Excellence to strengthen the relationship between both parties that has lasted for almost three decades.

This partnership was reinforced in June 2017 and later formalized in October 2019, in a Memorandum of Understanding to expressly confirm the Club’s willingness to have the School provide education to its players whilst allowing them develop and nurture their footballing talent.

KCCA FC officials that visited the school were led by Aggrey Ashaba (Vice Chairman – KCCA FC), Anisha Shahir Muhoozi, (CEO – KCCA), Moses Ssekiti Kaddu (Manager Administration and Operations), Fathirat Zahara Kadala (Admin Officer), Joshua Nagenda (Business Development Officer) and Ali Mwirusi a former Kibuli SSS player now currently playing for KCCA FC.

Chint Electric, our principal shirt sponsor were also part of the visit and were led by Hurry Mugisha (Marketing Manager), Allan Zziwa and Joseph Hiire (Marketing Associates), Arnold Kato (Digital Marketing).

The main purpose for the visit was to review the partnership between both parties and further this relationship and also how to leverage on the Memorandum of Understanding to optimize the relationship between the football club and the school.

Kibuli SSS has produced some of the former players and coaches for KCCA FC like Abdallah Mubiru, Mujib Kasule, Sam Ssimbwa, Mike Mutebi among others.

The current KCCA FC senior squad has former Kibuli SSS players like Allan Okello, Faisal Wabyoona, Julius Poloto, Ali Mwirusi, Moses Waiswa and Dominic Ayella who was the captain of the school as they won the FEASSSA games in Arusha, Tanzania 2022.

Kibuli SSS who are the Champions of the FEASSSA will be representing the East African region at the World Schools Championships in Morocco 2023.

The officials had this to say;

I am delighted to host the team from KCCA FC together with officials from Chint Electric. The meeting has been fruitful and we have agreed on a number of things most importantly academic excellence for players and on how to grow the club’s fanbase through the school. We want to thank Chint Electric that have donated 25 footballs to the school, these will help us as we prepare for the World Schools Championships in Morocco

We are proud to associate with Kibuli SSS through our partners KCCA FC. This is an extension of our relationship with KCCA FC not just being their shirt sponsor but also participating in grassroot activities they have with Kibuli SSS that feeds the club’s academy and later on these player are promoted to the senior team. We have handed over 25 footballs to give back to Kibuli SSS who are preparing to represent Uganda and East Africa at the global stage in Morocco.
