Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) assistant manager Morley Byekwaso is confident the Ugandan champions have enough cover to fill the void left by Joseph Ochaya.

Ochaya moved to Lusaka Dynamos in the Zambian Premier League last week. The Cranes defender has been one of the most important players for the club and his departure is likely to be felt.

But Byekwaso is confident they have enough able personnel replace the left back.

Ochaya has been one of our best players not only at KCCA FC but the entire league and has been a key figure in our set up

The Assistant manager told www.kccafc.co.ug before praising the confidence of the available players.

“But we are confident that the players available will be good replacements.”

Among the players that will be looked at to replace the Ochaya include Isaac Muleme, youngster Mustafa Kiiza and versatile defender Habib Kavuma.

The assistant manager believes the trio have the ability to do exactly what Ochaya has been doing or perhaps even better.

Kiiza Mustapha is young and promising, Isaac Muleme has the experience just like Habib Kavuma and all the three have the quality to play in that position so we are not worried as the technical team

The first game without the roving left back, who has also been the vice-captain at KCCA FC, will be an away Uganda Premier League (UPL) encounter against Soana in Kavumba on Tuesday.

Match Day Squad: Benjamin Ochan, Charles Lukwago, Denis Okot, Timothy Awany, Habib Kavuma, Denis Rukundo, Mustapha Kiiza, Ivan Ntege, Bukenya Lawrence, Paul Mucureezi, Noel Nasasira, Vincent Kayizzi, Tom Masiko, Brian Majwega, Muzamiru Mutyaba, Allan Okello, Geoffrey Serunkuuma, Derrick Nsibambi
