We gather here today to start a new chapter. The annual KCCA FC Day is an event where we get to have the squad unveiled to us ahead of the new season. We want our fans and supporters a chance to come together and celebrate their club ahead of the new season. I have visited the ongoing construction of the main stand of the stadium, and I am impressed by the work going on. I am certain that we shall soon have the stand operational. I wish all KCCA FC stakeholders all the best ahead of the new season.

We believe we shall compete favorably ahead of the new season. I urge all our fans to support the team and support all the club’s initiatives as this task is a collective one

Ahead of the unveiling of the jersey, two former players and greats of KCCA FC, Tenywa Mubarak and Vincent Kayiizi walked onto the pitch with the home and away kits sealed in boxes. Each handed a box to the Lord Mayor and the Chairman before they revealed what lay in the boxes.
The Lord Mayor and Chairman then unveiled the home and away kits for the 2024/25 jersey.
Shortly after, the entire squad and technical team of KCCA FC made way to the platform at the center of the pitch with class and style as they each waved to the stakeholders in the stands.
The head coach, Abdallah Mubiru, was the last to be announced, and shortly after he greeted the fans and named the club captains ahead of the 2024/25 season.
As a technical team, we sat down and agreed on the players that we think will help us on guiding and leading these players for the forthcoming season and these are; Julius Poloto, Fillbert Obenchan, Musitafa Mujuzi, Usama Arafat Kiza and Ashraf Mugume in that order.
