Sadat Happy Anaku has completed his move back to KCCA FC.
Anaku joins as a free agent and has penned a deal with KCCA FC until the end of the 2024–25 season.
Anaku left KCCA FC in August 2022 and joined Scottish professional football side, Dundee United.
Sadat, a graduate of the KCCA FC junior team, joined the club in 2016 while a student at Kibuli Secondary School, one of KCCA FC’s schools of excellence, and played for the junior side until 2019.
Anaku is also the all-time top scorer of the FUFA Juniors League with 83 goals in 52 games.
In 2019, Anaku was promoted to the KCCA FC senior team and scored 6 goals in 17 games in his first season on the senior team.
Anaku bagged 9 goals in 20 games in the 2020/21 season and would later score 7 goals in 23 games in the 2021/22 season.
In 2022, Anaku became the first player from KCCA FC to join a football club in Scotland.
In total, Anaku has scored 83 goals in 52 games for the KCCA FC junior team and 22 goals in 67 games for the KCCA FC senior team. This makes it 105 goals in 119 games for both the junior and senior sides of KCCA FC.
The player spoke to the club website and said;
I feel so happy to be back to KCCA FC where it all started. I am eager to compete with my mates to help the club achieve its objectives. I love the fact that when I came back here, I found several familiar faces in the dressing room and this place simply feels like home. I am thankful to the club board, management, and Head Coach for having granted me this opportunity to return to KCCA FC, and I can not wait to get started again.

Anaku has also featured on the Ugandan U20 men’s national football team.
Sadat Anaku will don shirt number 8 for the 2024/25 season.
Anaku will largely compete for a position on the team with other forwards, Derrick Nsibambi, Abubaker Mayanja, and Emmanuel Anyama.
