Striker Robert Sentongo has called for team unity ahead of the much anticipated clash against Mamelodi Sundowns in the first leg of the 2017 Total CAF champions league this Friday at Lucas Moripe stadium in Pretoria, South Africa.
Sentongo believes that, with unity, the team will get a good result.
They(Mamelodi Sundowns) are a good team but I believe if we play as a unit, work together and stay focused, we can earn a positive result
Sentongo who has scored 5 goals in six appearances this season indicates that they need to be effective in all the departments in order to stop Sundowns.
Scoring against them may not be easy but I’m confident we can do it. What is important is for us to be at our best right from the defence. It will not make sense if we score against them on one end but go on to concede. We must be efficient in all departments
About whether they have been affected by the weather in South Africa, the sharpshooter stated that the conditions are not any different from those in Uganda.
The weather here is good, we have acclimatized quickly and I don’t think it is any different from that back home
The return leg at Will e at the Phillip Omondi stadium next week 18th March in Kampala. KCCA FC knocked out CD Primero de Agosto in the preliminary round of this competition with a 2-2 aggregate, advancing on away goals rule.
