Hakim Senkumba during training at he Philip Omondi Stadium in Lugogo, he has featured in defense and midfield this season for KCCA FC

On his return from a minor road accident, KCCA FC versatile midfielder Hakim ‘Lei’ Ssenkumba is not bothered by where the coaches will employ him.

By the time he was injured, Ssenkumba was occupying a role in the back line in the absence of Timothy Awany and seemed to have impressed manager Mike Mutebi.

I think he (manager) still wants me to play in defense because he has been playing me as a right winger in the friendly matches since I returned

Said Senkumba who is also willing to play in any position assigned in order to be in the first team and guide the club to glory.

The most important issue is thinking about the club first before your individual desires. I’m a team player ready to sacrifice for victory. I also feel comfortable playing at the heart of defense with Awany as our few matches together lately can show

Senkumba said ahead of the next league clash with Proline at Lugogo. His experience will surely add steel and belief in the team as Mutebi plans to finish off the first round on top of the table.
