Sserunkuma can’t wait for first goal in Confederation Cup

By: Moses Magero

Striker Geoffrey Serunkuuma scored four goals for KCCA FC in all the four games of the 2017 Total CAF Champions League campaign against Mamelodi Sundowns and CD premeiro de Agosto.

Serunkuuma has already bagged 20 league goals and four in the 2017 FUFA Uganda Cup.

But he is yet to find the back net in the two games KCCA FC played against Al Masry in the Confederation Cup playoff.

I’m eager to help my team get good results with goals, I would love to find the back of the net against FUS Rabat, but the team winning is priority number one

Serunkuuma told www.kccafc.co.ug after the Thursday night training session in Rabat, he also added.

As a striker you want to score in every much, but the beauty about our team, goals come from everywhere, Nsibambi (Derrick) then the young Nasasira (Noel), we also have Tom Masiko and Isaac Muleme who have proved they can score goals for the team

On what KCCA FC should do to leave Morocco with a result, Serunkuuma just called for calmness and belief, just like it has been in the other games.

Belief. We need to believe in ourselves, and the coach has been preaching that, but we also have to stay calm and have that game discipline for ninety minutes, we have a good team

At Lugogo as KCCA FC defeated Al Masry, 1-0, it was Nsibambi who came off the bench to give KCCA FC a 94th winner.

KCCA FC will be without four key figures in the team including skipper Dennis Okot and goalie Benjamin Ochan, who are both suspended.

Midfielders Muzamir Mutyaba and Paul Mucureezi are also out injured while Allan Okello has school commitments.
