KCCA FC has agreed a deal with Montreal Impact a Canadian professional soccer team based in Montreal, Quebec for the transfer of fullback Mustafa Kizza for two years with an option to sign further three years at the end of the two years.
Kizza’s move to Montreal Impact is subject to completion of a medical review. The fullback is expected to undergo a medical when he flies to Montreal as and when normalcy is restored and air transport is allowed to operate in Uganda
The agreement starts on 12 August 2020. Montreal Impact competes as a member of the Eastern Conference in Major League Soccer and the club is coached by Thierry Henry
Kizza will stay at KCCA until December 2020 on loan from Montreal Impact because of the current COVID 19 situation but his loan period at KCCA FC has an option for Impact to call him for duty if the pandemic situation improves.
Kizza joined KCCA Soccer Academy as teenager in 2015 and played for the development side until 2016.
The left back joined Maroons FC at the beginning of the 2016-17 season and later returned to KCCA FC in January 2017 and has played for the senior team for a period of 3 and a half years.
KCCA FC would like to wish Kizza Mustafa the best at his new home Montreal Impact when the time for his actual move comes.
