Uganda Cranes | KCCA FC trio makes travelling squad

Three KCCA FC players were named in the final traveling squad of the Uganda Cranes set to face Kuwait in an international friendly game this week on Friday, January 19, 2024.

The three are Shaban Muhammad, Usama Arafat Kiza, and Ashraf Mugume.

The trio was named in a 22-man travelling squad by Uganda Cranes Head Coach Put Paul Joseph.

Shaban is KCCA FC’s current top scorer and the Uganda Premier League’s overall joint second with eight goals, while the pair of Mugume and Usama are joint second for the club with four goals each this term.

The team departed for Cairo, Egypt, on Monday at 6 p.m. (EAT).

The team that travelled is fully comprised of players plying their trade in Uganda.

The Uganda Cranes will face Kuwait on Friday, January 19th, in Cairo, Egypt.
